The Tyrion Cabal is an organization led by Claudandus, the main antagonist in Project Marigold. It is hidden deep in Aperture Science, and its members consist of many cores, turrets, and a surprising amount of robot cats. Their motive seemingly appears to take over Aperture, but the reason why is unknown.

History

Foundation

Tyrion

Tyrion, the first robot cat Aperture Science created.

The origins of the cabal are uncertain, as they're extremely secretive, but the cabal's name comes from Aperture's very first robot cat, Tyrion. The Tyrion Cabal is even secretive to their own members, as said by ex-member Coriander. The cabal's members are mostly robots who have been exiled by GLaDOS or those who've been living deep in the facility. The cabal's name comes from the robot cat, Tyrion, who was the first ever robot cat created and tried to overthrow GLaDOS, but failed.

Not much is known about their leader, Claudandus. He could've founded the cabal in honor of Tyrion, or Tyrion himself could be the founder and Claudandus took his place. No one knows about Tyrion's fate.

Rise

Claudandus convinced other exiled robots to join his cabal, and so the organization started to grow- a couple of these exiled robots being Mori, the Death Core, and Kenneth Black. Mori later proved herself to be a reliable and noble member. She and Claudandus tried to convince another group, The Outsiders, to join them but the leader, James Marigold, refused, which resulted in his death. Other notable members who joined the cabal include the robot cat, Sin, who has a skilled fighter and commander, and Chaos, the Chaos Core. Claudandus later located a storage room containing many robot cat models, and slowly started to gain control of parts in the deep bowels of Aperture. The cabal later heard of a prototype chassis around and Claudandus ordered a search party to find it so he could upload his consciousness in it.

Currently, the cabal is still looking for the chassis, and is still rising to this day. The cabal has managed to find and make pathways to current Aperture through inactive vents and elevators.

When rumors about Atlas and P-body having a child started to spread, Claudandus ordered a search party to locate the robots and confirm if the rumors were true. It later turns out that they were true, and that Atlas and P-body had a daughter named Pallas. Claudandus then sent an order to Mori to capture the baby, but it goes out of hand when GLaDOS sends to the family to a room, therefore losing their location.

Mori later finds their location after a few years and finds out they had twins named Basileios and Coryn, and sometime later they got captured and were held as prisoners, but both of them eventually escaped.

Public Image

To the other denizens of Aperture who weren't captured by them, the Cabal to them could either be seen as an urban legend or rumor. The Tyrion Cabal does not reveal much about themselves or their existence to the public. To those cast away by GLaDOS, the Cabal is seen as an organization doing good, trying to change Aperture for the better, but is not very trustworthy. Others have mixed or negative feelings about the Cabal due them hearing about their "rumored" cruel nature.
