Project Marigold is a story created by Revie Genette (Mimosa N). It has two story variations, one being the original Portal fanfiction it started as and a rebooted version that is an original story. Both versions follow Pallas getting caught in an underground world with rivaling secret organizations when she tries to find her younger brothers after they've been caught kidnapped.
Project Marigold was created sometime in early 2021 and was rebooted into an original story in 2023.
Under construction. This contains a lot of outdated info, along with the character pages.
Premise
The original version of the story follows Pallas, who is the daughter of Atlas and P-body, as she and her brothers Basil and Coryn are assigned their first test chamber. But then, Basil and Coryn mysteriously disappear, and Pallas finds a secret opening in the chamber walls which leads to a world deep in Aperture Laboratories that neither Pallas nor her family have ever heard of. Pallas finds out that she is a wanted fugitive from a mysterious organization known as the Tyrion Cabal, and now she needs to uncover many secrets of this place.
In the reboot, the plot is still somewhat similar, but Pallas is now a creature called a slunk, living with her brothers and a caretaker. Nothing is known about her and her brothers' parents. One day she returns home to find that her caretaker has been murdered and her brothers have disappeared, and she finds a note showing directions to a secret underground city, where she goes and finds out that she is a wanted fugitive from the Tyrion Cabal, and now she needs to know more about this underground city, and why she and her brothers have anything to do with whatever the Tyrion Cabal is planning.

Trivia
- Project Marigold was originally called "The [REDACTED] Trilogy".
- The storyline has been changed multiple times. At first it started out as simply just Atlas and P-body fighting with Mori and Orlando which resulted in Coryn's kidnapping. Basil also did not exist.
- Project Marigold's main inspirations were Koerenn's Experience N7, Portal: The Underground, A World Beyond, Felidae, Guardians of Ga'Hoole, AzureHowl, The Stolen Hope (and its reboot), various songs, and various Portal 2 concept ideas.
- Revie Genette thinks the original version of Project Marigold is cringeworthy, but she still keeps it because she wants to put out a complete story.
