Exorcists is a fan-made story created and written by The Owl City. It centers around the sleepy town of Angel Peak, Texas where local cook Lucas Throne calls it home. Underneath its idyllic scenery is a breeding ground for monstrosities lurking from interdimensional borders known as the Eldritch, eager to prey on the unsuspecting people that make up of Angel Peak's liveliness.
Enter the Exorcists, a secret society of warriors well-versed in vanquishing the Eldritch and handling matters between mankind and the Fae. Nora Virtue, a transfer student from Manchester and an experienced Exorcist, was assigned to Angel Peak to deal and report Eldritch activity growing there but after a chance encounter with Lucas during one attack, the two embark in adventures within and beyond Angel Peaks' borders.

- Lucas Throne: A lazy yet plucky young man working at the family bistro as a cook. After his chance encounter with Nora during an Eldritch attack, he was brought in to become an Exorcist in order to discover the mystery behind his father's death, who was also an Exorcist then. Lucas wields a magic combat whip named Shadow Star, studded with two gemstones channeling angelic and demonic energies which the wielder can perform techniques with. Despite that, he insists that his greatest weapon is "thinking outside of the box"βhis mind.
- Nora Virtue: A transfer student from Manchester, United Kingdom and an Exorcist who was assigned to Angel Peak by her father in dealing with the rising Eldritch activity there. She recruited Lucas into the Brotherhood after their chance encounter and becomes her partner under order of her father. Nora is half-Elysion; a race of angel-like beings who have cooperated with the Brotherhood in the Eldritch purge and her mother happens to be the current queen. She wields an amulet-shaped weapon called Ascalon that can shift into three different modes.
