City of Nightmares is a horror adventure story about a young man, Ricky Boom, suddenly finding himself in a nightmarish world that happens to be the origin of his many sleepless nights.
After forcefully being transformed into a resident of this place -a "Nightmare Creature"- in order to resurrect its once defeated, dead king, he is further dragged along by the perpetrators to chase down the villain who's planning to take the crown for himself. Ricky discovers to have many unusual powers as a Nightmare Creature, and a surprising connection to the mysterious king.

Chapter 1: "Testament"

(Ricky shoots up)Ricky Boom: "YAAH!"
Ricky Boom: (To himself) "Ugh...These nightmares are killing me.. What do they mean?!"
Ricky Boom: (To himself) "I can't take it anymore. I think it'd be best if I visited my doctor."
(At Zolus' office)
Doctor Zolus: "So, based on the imagery and your symptoms, your nightmares must be linked to a kingdom that science is still struggling to call a real place; The City Of Nightmares. According to legends, there's an untouchable cemetery tomb that leads to this hidden city."
Ricky Boom: "..Excuse me?"
Doctor Zolus: "Had a passion for myths and unexplainable phenomenon before I became a doctor."
Ricky Boom: "I can tell."
Ricky Boom: "It's not that I don't believe you, doctor.. but maybe there's another reason why sleeping has been a horror show for me since birth..?"
Doctor Zolus: "I understand you're skeptical, but this truly is an unexplainable phenomenon. You've visited so many doctors in your life and their reports show that everything's been tried.. They seemed more desperate than you."
Ricky Boom: "So, what then, my brain's just messed up?"
Doctor Zolus: "No, you're linked to The City of Nightmares."
Ricky Boom: "R.. Right.."
Ricky Boom: "Then, what am I supposed to do? Sounds like you don't even know for sure this place exists, and even if it does, what then?"
Doctor Zolus: "I remember reading that good and optimistic thoughts make it hard for these creatures to survive in your head. Enjoy yourself as much as possible when you're awake and try to dream good things when you're asleep, before these nightmares kill you."
Ricky Boom: "What. Doctor, people can't control their unconsciousness..!"
Doctor Zolus: "It's not impossible. You have to remember that the world and creatures you're seeing aren't real."
Ricky Boom: "But you're arguing they ARE real and have a city inside a tombstone!"
Doctor Zolus: "They're real there, but in the world of reality -ours- they're spectres if anything."
Ricky Boom: "..Can't I just get a lobotomy.."
(Meanwhile, in The City of Nightmares)
Brutto Sogno: "To think, if we hadn't sent an infiltrator to the world of the living before ours was imprisoned in this ugly tombstone, there'd be no passageway to cross over..!"
Gross: "I wouldn't have tried it. It could've ended with our sacrifice stuck and separated from us forever. A shame to lose an ally."
Brutto Sogno: "..I'm not going to pretend to care."
Brutto Sogno: "What I do care about is our little weasel, Ricky, hahahahaha! I've been taking real good care of him..!"
Gross: "Why him, anyway?"
Brutto Sogno: "None of your business, 'anyway'."
Brutto Sogno: "But this brings us to the next step.. Do you know what happens when we bite a normal human being?"
Gross: "Yes? They become a Nightmare Creature and their insides are replaced with 'the organ of fear'."
Brutto Sogno: "And I know one very lucky boy to add to the collection!"
(Back in the human world)
Ricky Boom: "Doctor Zolus is crazy. I tell the guy about my head-splitting nightmares, and he throws ghost stories at me. Could I sue him for that..?"
Smoke: "I wanna go to Nightmare City! Please, I wanna go, can you take me?"
Ricky Boom: "It's not real, Smoke!"
Ricky Boom: "..Uggh.. I don't want to have these nightmares anymore! What am I supposed to do if no one knows how to help me?"
Smoke: "I wanna go to Nightmare City, please!"
Ricky Boom: "..What's with you today? Relax, it's made-up!"
Smoke: "Let's go to the cemetery! The tombstone's there!"
Ricky Boom: "Huh?"
Ricky Boom: "How do you know it's inside a tombstone, I didn't tell you that? And how're you so sure this fake city is located in OUR cemetery, there are thousands of cemeteries in the world and Zolus didn't say wh-"
Smoke: "I WANNA GO TO NIGHTMARE WORLD!"
(Smoke takes a razor and starts cutting himself)
Ricky Boom: "SMOKE! What're you-?!"
(Ricky grabs his arms, whereafter Smoke starts melting)
Ricky Boom: "AAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"
(Ricky runs far away from him and ends up in a cemetery)
Ricky Boom: (To himself) "What, now I'm at one..?! This is the local cemetery.. This definitely has to be a dream, but when did I fall asleep?"
(He continues to walk around)
Ricky Boom: (To himself) "It's like I was lead to this place, but what am I even looking for?"
Ricky Boom: (To himself) "Do I even want to be here right now..? Maybe I should do what Zolus told me and, um.. be happy or whatever, maybe I'll wake up."
(An ominous tombstone grabs his attention)
(Ricky enters a trance)Ricky Boom: (To himself) "..This..is..this is..."
Ricky Boom: (To himself) "..I need to find the City of Nightmares."
(He approaches the tombstone, which opens itself up for him)
(Ricky enters The City of Nightmares)
(Gross immediately grabs his neck)Gross: "GOT 'EM!"
Fear: "Hahahahahaha! Welcome to Nightmare City, where I will bite you and you'll become one of us!"
Gross: "Bite, bite, bite! Turn him into one of us, bite him, hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!"
Ricky Boom: "Let me go!"
(Fear bites Ricky)
(Warped imagery starts appearing, followed by familiar demons)Ricky Boom: "The Gemini Brothers!?"
Gemini Brothers: "We are, we are, we are-"
Ricky Boom: "T-This is a dream! This has to be a dream!"
Gemini Brothers: "-here to scare, scare, SCARE you! TO DEATH, IF WE'RE FEELING GENEROUS!"
(Ricky releases a loud scream)
(He wakes up at his house and runs to a mirror)Ricky Boom: (To himself) "Aaaaaaah! My face is swollen! What're these marks? What's inside my head..?!"
Ricky Boom: (To himself) "Am I still dreaming?! Please, someone tell me if I'm still dreaming..!"
Chapter 2: "Resurrection"

Ricky Boom: (To himself) "This is just a dream, doctor Zolus said it's not real, I just need to convince myself I'm not really here..!"
Fear: "You still think we're a hallucination created by you?"
(Ricky jumps)
Ricky Boom: "YOU!"
Fear: "No time for small talk, we've transformed you for a reason."
Gross: "The King of Dreams.. we learned he can be revived with the touch of a recently transformed Nightmare Creature, and guess who gets the honor!"
(Ricky's surroundings change into a different location)
Fear: "His tomb is right over here. If you could please touch it, just a quick slap, either one of your hands will do!"
Ricky Boom: "Hold on a sec..!"
Doctor Zolus: "You rebels aren't touching anything, I won't let you!"
(Ricky turns around)
Ricky Boom: "Doctor..?!"
(Zolus transforms into his true form)
Ricky Boom: "Oh my God, what the Hell is thiiiiiiiiiis!"
Zolus: "I'll end you all! RAAARH!"
(Zolus charges at them)
(Ricky releases a loud scream)
(Zolus fights Fear and Gross)Zolus: "Hahahahahahaha! DIE!"
(Someone shows up out of nowhere and gives Zolus a blow to the head)
(Ricky yelps in surprise)Gross: "Shit, right on time!"
Ricky Boom: "But.. you..! Smoke?"
Ricky Boom: "What's happened to you?"
Big Meat: "I'm not Smoke! I'm a Nightmare Creature, have been for a long time, Ricky! Hahahahaha!"
Ricky Boom: "What're you talking about, who have I been hanging out with all this time!?"
Big Meat: "You've been asleep all this time! As my new self, it's very easy to infiltrate your dreams and 'hang out', if you will!"
Ricky Boom: "T-Then, am I asleep now? That other demon made it seem like this isn't a hallu-"
Big Meat: "Who knows! Hahahahaha!"
Ricky Boom: "Smoke, what's the matter with you! Why're you helping these things torture me, we're friends!"
Big Meat: "I just told you, I'm not Smoke! I've been reborn, I've become something better!"
Ricky Boom: "If you remember my name, surely you remember who you used to be!"
Big Meat: "These are all a stranger's memories. Hehe, but.. if you really wanna be my pal, could you touch that stone for us?"
Gross: "Pretty please?"
Ricky Boom: "Forget it! I don't know who this king character is, and why should I listen to a buncha dream demons! Turn me back to normal and leave me alone!"
Gross: "..."
Fear: "..How about we pick him up and brush him against it ourselves?"
Gross: "Yeah, alright."
(Fear and Gross grab Ricky and throw him against the king's tomb stone)
Ricky Boom: "OW! Seriously?!"
(The earth shakes and The King of Dreams emerges)
Sognare: "I.. am alive..!"
Fear: "Welcome."
(Ricky stares with his eyes widened)
(The king instantly turns to him)Sognare:"..Thanks to you, young man. Thank you very much, I am grateful.. Ricky Boom."
Ricky Boom: "H-How do you know my name?"
Fear: "Doesn't matter."
Fear: "King Sognare! Zolus was just here and tried to halt your resurrection!"
Sognare:"..Zolus.. He was able to see you and meddle..?"
Gross: "Yes, king, he's become a Nightmare Creature."
Ricky Boom: "E-Excuse me, hello? Why is all of this happening, is it relevant to me? Can I please go?"
Gross: "Relevant? Your friend and doctor are Nightmare Creatures and you think it doesn't concern you?"
Gross: (To Fear) "Hahaha, I like this kid, he's comically stupid!"
Ricky Boom: "I've only ever known Zolus as my.. somewhat eccentric doctor. What do you want me to say here?"
Gross: "He's been a Nightmare Creature for many, many years. He used to be a cruel Egyptian warrior and killed a lot of people. He was notorious."
Fear: "But he became seriously wounded in a battle against the falcon-headed god, Horus. That's when he must've made a pact with another Nightmare Creature.. One with an agenda, since Zolus is no friend of ours."
Gross: "As you've noticed."
Ricky Boom: "..Gods are real?"
(Fear and Gross look at each other)
Fear: "That's all you have to say?"
Gross: "What a strange question to ask demons."
Sognare: "So, you're insinuating that Brutto Sogno turned him into a creature of nightmares?"
(Flashback scene of Brutto talking to a dying, past Zolus)
Fear: "I believe so."
(Flashback scene of Brutto biting Zolus)
Chapter 3: "Pure Nightmare Creature"

Ricky Boom: "Oh God, I thought you were taking me to some Hellfire pit..!"
Gross: "Maybe later, haha!"
Ricky Boom: "This place looks quiet.. Is this still Nightmare City?"
Fear: "Yes. This is the home of Espinheira. She doesn't like noise, so she lives separated from everyone."
Gross: "Separated from fun, you could say."
Ricky Boom: "Who's she?"
(Fear points)
Fear: "An strong ally, hopefully, and The Nightmare Creature you see over there."
Ricky Boom: "Where?"
Gross: "I call her 'bush', as she is a bush. She hates that, so by all means call her that! You see the one, with the angry eyes? Hahahahaha!"
(A thorn bush starts shaking angrily and radiates fear energy)
Ricky Boom: "C-Could you not start a fight with another bloodthirsty demon while I'm here, please! I want to go back to my world, why am I still being dragged along in all this!"
Sognare: "Everyone, pay attention. Espinheira is warning us. Be careful."
Gross: "Chill, bush, I'm just pulling your thorns!"
Fear: "The king is talking about her intentions, Gross. It's not good."
Sognare: "Espinheira, have you betrayed us as well?"
(An explosion of power erupts from her)
(Ricky becomes affected and grabs his head)Ricky Boom: "What the.. what is this! Ahh, I feel so angry!"
Sognare: "Be calm."
(Ricky releases a beastly roar)
(Gross sprints at Espinheira, but is grabbed by her long tongue branch and thrown away)Espinheira: "You're mistaken about me. YOU are the rebels."
Fear: "What is she talking about, my king?"
Sognare: "I do not know."
Espinheira: "You should join us, Nightmare Creatures. King Sognare is not our king, his brother is the rightful heir."
Fear: "Let's talk about this later, we need to neutralize her before she kills us."
(Fear turns to Ricky, still struggling to keep his composure)
Fear: "Ricky, come to your senses! You've been linked to this world since birth, you can control your Nightmare body!"
Ricky Boom: "I just feel.. so angry!"
Fear: "It's not your anger, it's hers! Shed it and help me fight her..!"
Ricky Boom: "What do I even do!"
Fear: "Fill your chest with air and scream as loud as you can."
Ricky Boom: "What will that even-"
Fear: "You'll see! On the count of three!"
(Ricky and Fear take a breath and release a super scream)
(Espinheira loses her bearings)
(Gross quickly grabs her by the trunk)Espinheira: "Let me go, before I choke you!"
Gross: "Heh! Ricky, come here! You should have the honor!"
Ricky Boom: "Of what?"
Gross: "Nightmare Creatures become stronger as they kill, and you did such a good job being one just now.."
Ricky Boom: "No way!"
Gross: "Whaaaaat? Why, don't you wanna become a strong and cool Nightmare Creature?"
Ricky Boom: "I WANNA BE TURNED BACK TO NORMAL AND GO HOME! I hate all of this!"
Sognare: "We're not killing anyone. We just need to keep an eye on her, that'll be enough."
Gross: "My king, she tried to kill us! Come on, Ricky, there's a first time for everything!"
Ricky Boom: "I don't wanna kill this thing, violence is wrong, and above all... above.. please.."
(Ricky grabs his stomach and sweats profusely)
Ricky Boom: "ahhhhgg, my organs.. they're burning.. ahhggg..!"
Gross: "You better listen to your instincts, boy. A Nightmare Creature never declines an opportunity like this and I'm being real generous over here!"
Ricky Boom: "I WON'T KILL ANYONE!"
(Ricky raises his hands and absorbs Espinheira's powers)
(Scene switches to a lurking Brutto Sogno)
Brutto Sogno: (To himself) "As I thought, he can absorb the powers of Nightmare Creatures..!"
Brutto Sogno: (To himself) "He is the impossible..! A 'Pure Nightmare Creature'! I knew it, I knew it..! To think that a Nightmare Creature that refuses to kill is given a greater gift in return; more power than a hundred deaths would provide!"
(His eyes move to the others)
Brutto Sogno: (To himself) "But they've now witnessed it too.. and Espinheira can no longer fight for me. I'll have to send another Nightmare Creature.."
(Scene goes back to Ricky)
Ricky Boom: "I'm stronger, somehow.. I feel invigorated."
Sognare: "What an interesting ability."
Fear: "How did you do that?"
Ricky Boom: "I don't know."
Sognare: "It's a question a youngling like him won't be able to answer for a little while."
Fear: "Y-Yes, of course.."
(Ricky looks around)
Ricky Boom: "Hey.. Whatever happened to Smoke? He just suddenly disappeared."
Gross: "'Big Meat', you mean."
Ricky Boom: "...Don't know what nickname is worse, but fine, yeah, 'Big Meat'."
Big Meat: "You're one to talk, BOOM!"
(Big Meat appears)
Big Meat: "Missed me?"
Ricky Boom: "Y-Yeah. You're still my friend or.. whatever.."
Big Meat: "I'm fine. I got lost there for a sec, but discovered a new skill in the meantime!"
(Big Meat gets a razor and cuts his arm)
Ricky Boom: "Oh, ugh, no, not this again!"
(His blood begins to take the shape of a large sword)
Big Meat: "I can make weapons with my blood! I don't even have to hold it to use it, I have total control."
(The blood sword moves around and swipes on its own)
Ricky Boom: "Eh.. Hehe, yeah, real cool, Big Smoke.."
Big Meat: "'Big Meat'."
Fear: "Alright, enough of that. We're possibly surrounded by traitors, we don't have time to stand around and be cute."
Gross: "King Sognare, where do you want to go next?"
Ricky Boom: "Hold on a minute! I'm not gonna be a part of this demon revolution!"
Ricky Boom: "YOU TWO (pointing at Fear and Gross) have been mentally torturing me my entire life, then turn me into a disgusting creature against my will, and now I'm being pushed through Nightmare City to fight for this.. this RESURRECTED DREAM KING I still know nothing about!"
Fear: "Show some respect!"
Ricky Boom: "You things don't even know the meaning of the word!"
Sognare: "Please, no more."
Sognare: "'Brutto Sogno', that name must sound familiar to you."
Ricky Boom: "..Yeah?"
Sognare: "He is my brother and the one we appear to be fighting, regrettably. You, of all people, have to know how ruthless he is."
Sognare: "These two Nightmare Creatures were working under his command, nothing more, nothing less. With my long absence, it's all they could've done."
Ricky Boom: "..Puh..!"
Sognare: "As for me, I am the rightful king of this world, though my origins are humble. Like you, I used to be a normal human being."
Sognare: "I was born in Russia, but raised in France, together with my brother. There, he committed many crimes, yet believed he was righteous. A state of mind he never shed and one that has likely convinced many powerful Nightmare Creatures, like Zolus and Espinheira."
Fear: "He was an insane mass-murderer."
Ricky Boom: "I.. know. Whenever he personally came to haunt me, he'd force me to experience these crimes. I've seen every detail of it."
Sognare: "I'm sorry to hear that."
Ricky Boom: "But it was unlike the nightmares his dumb goons gave me.."
Gross: "Hey!"
Ricky Boom: "..There was always a moment where a light would appear briefly, and a cryptic voice said-"
Sognare: "-'Light overcomes nightmares. Light has divine power'."
Sognare: "There's a reason why Brutto is attracted to you. He knows of your capabilities.. You are my son."
Ricky Boom: "..I'm what."
Fear: "A prince in our midst!"
Ricky Boom: "..what."
Gross: "Hahahahaha! A prince with the delicacy of an onion! But if I may, king Sognare, we have to get going."
Chapter 4: "Dark Path"

Gross: "Ugh."
Gross: "Listen kid, we need as many fighters for this as we can get, but we'll bring you back home after this is over, maybe, suck it up for now!"
Ricky Boom: (To Sognare) "You're my father? The man who abandoned me since birth and left me with a stepdad who hates me?"
Sognare: "Son.."
Ricky Boom: "You thought it was more important to play the king of a bunch of Hell creatures than be my father..?!"
Sognare: "It's not like that."
Ricky Boom: "And you let these same creatures torture me for the entirety of my life?!"
Sognare: "Be calm, my son, you'll overexert your new body."
(Ricky cramps up)
Ricky Boom: "My stomach! Ahhhhhh hgggggmmm! W-Well, answer me!"
Sognare: "I've been absent for too long, I sympathize with your anger. As the King of Dreams, I had lost myself, but ever so slowly regained my humanity, because I wanted to.. I had to.."
Sognare: "I almost remembered you, but was assassinated. I could only connect to you through my brother, the only other person I share blood with, and let my voice be heard in your most dire moments with him. It was all I was capable of, I apologize."
Gross: "My king, don't mean to interrupt again, but we have to get going. If Brutto's going around misleading your best warriors, we gotta make sure to reach them first."
Sognare: "..Yes. Of course."
Sognare: "Let us move on for now."
Ricky Boom: "..Don't think this is the last of our conversation, 'dad'!"
Fear: "Don't disrespect our king and your father!"
Sognare: "Let him."
(The group transports to another area)
Gross: "Look out!"
(A Hydra head shoots forward and tries to bite them, but misses)
Blub: "Aww. Don't worry, my dear Hydra, you'll have another chance."
Sognare: "Blub. This pains me to see."
Ricky Boom: "Yuck! This guy has two Hydras in stomach, I'm gonna throw up!"
Gross: "Two Hydra heads, you mean, not two actual Hydras."
Ricky Boom: "Whatever!"
Blub: "Two?"
(More heads come out of Blub's stomach and wrap themselves around Ricky's neck)
Sognare: "Son, use the ability you stole from Espinheira!"
Ricky Boom: "I.. don't know.. how!"
Big Meat: "This looks like a good time to use my new trick!"
(Big Meat takes a razor and cuts his arm again)
Ricky Boom: "I.. hate it so.. much when you.. do.. that!"
(His blood begins to take the form of a large sword)
Big Meat: "There we go, let's see what this baby is capable of!"
(Big Meat charges Blub)
(They fight)Blub: "Look at that, a weapon made of blood! Honestly, I thought you were ending yourself, would've been a better choice, hahahahahahaha!"
(The heads bite the sword, "breaking" it)
(The heads become disoriented)
(Ricky is dropped)Blub: "Huh? Why are you getting nauseous! It's just regular blood, isn't it?"
Blub: (To Big Meat) "What's in your blood?!"
Big Meat: (To the others) "I lost alot of blood, I'll need some time to recover..!"
Fear: "A super scream would do well about now."
(Fear super screams)
(Blub becomes paralyzed)Fear: "Gross!"
(Gross and Fear sprint towards Blub)
(The dizzy Hydra heads manage to grab and throw them away)
(Sognare kicks the majority of heads unconscious with one fell swoop)Sognare: "Son, get up! Learn to fight or this world will overwhelm you!"
Ricky Boom: "..I guess it's my turn.."
(Ricky jumps and grabs a head)
(He suddenly gets a flashback)(The sound of shots is heard)
(Two men throw a body into a lake)Ricky Boom: (In his mind) "What? What was that..? This guy's past?"
Ricky Boom: (In his mind) "..He was part of the mafia, then killed and thrown into a lake 59 years ago.."
Ricky Boom: (In his mind) "Why am I able to see this?"
(A light starts to grow inside his hands)
Ricky Boom: "This feeling..! Ahhh!"
(Ricky raises his hands and absorbs Blub's powers)
Blub: "What're you doing! GET OFF ME!"
Blub: "..I feel.. tired."
Blub: "Brothers..! I'll need.. your help.. after all.."
(Blub falls unconscious)
Fear: "'Brothers'?"
Gross: "I don't remember this guy having siblings."
Sognare: "Everyone."
(Everyone turns around)
Brothers Gemini: "Finally, finally! We'll kill, kill you!"
Sognare: "You too, brothers Gemini? Have I no friends left in this world?"
(The brothers fuse together and turn into one monster, Geremy)
Geremy: "We are Geremy, the strongest fusion of nightmares!"
(They swipe at Sognare, catapulting him against a boulder and knocking him out cold)
Fear: "My king!"
Fear: (To Geremy) "Traitorous beasts!"
Geremy: "We know the truth!"
Gross: "You don't know shit, Gemini idiots! If you work for Brutto, you work for the devil!"
Geremy: "Then have you forgotten; were are NIGHTMARE Creatures, discarders of light!"
Gross: "We were DREAM Creatures before anything else! A dream isn't only good or evil! There used to be a balance, don't you remember!?
Gross: "Stupid human criminals like Brutto, making pacts with our kind as if they're soliciting for a Summer vacation job, kept tipping the scale!"
Geremy: "We do not remember! Lies from the fake king!"
Geremy: "May he and his lackeys die a miserable death!"
(The area turns into an ominous black)
(The air becomes suffocating)Ricky Boom: "Fear, transport us out of here!"
Fear: "I can't.. move.. or see!"
Ricky Boom: "My head feels like it's gonna burst!"
(Sognare struggles to wake himself up)
(He weakly raises his hand and shoots a blast of light at Geremy)
(The area brights up)Geremy: (To themselves) "This light is eating us! We must retreat at once..!"
(Geremy runs off)
(Sognare gets up to check on the others)Sognare: "Are you alright?"
Fear: "My king, that was right on time! Are you alright?"
Gross: "That scratch looks nasty."
Sognare: "Indeed.. They attempted to cast a curse on me, but I'll get over it. Curses don't affect me much."
Ricky Boom: "Those Gemini Brothers are ruthless.."
Gross: "Only when they're together, they're not worth jack when by themselves!"
Fear: "That's right. Information we should remember for next time.."
Ricky Boom: "Can we not talk about 'next time'?"
(Sognare approaches Ricky)
Sognare: "Son. You did well."
Ricky Boom: "Thanks for lying. C-Can we move on now?"
Sognare: "Give me a moment to recover, then we can."
Fear: "Of course, Your Majesty."
(They all sit down)
(Scene changes to a lurking Brutto)Brutto Sogno: (To himself) "Grrrrrr. My brother could've disintegrated my best Nightmare Creatures right there..!"

Ricky Boom: "I've had enough of this!"
(Ricky unknowingly reverts Brutto's spell and sends the headaches back)
Brutto Sogno: "AAAAH! How-!"

Brutto Sogno: "..It been only three days since he became a Nightmare Creature, and yet, he's grown this powerful already.."
Brutto Sogno: "My brother's son.. My nephew.. You're a challenge."
Chapter 5: "Son of Nightmares"

Doctor: "I understand, but remain calm, you're almost done."
(Brutto Sogno is born)
(Scene goes back to the main cast)
Ricky Boom: "What horrible thing will we be visiting now?"
Gross: "Nothing out of the ordinary, just a guy with flies in his mouth, hahahahahahaha!"
Gross: "Speaking of, there are dead flies on the ground here. We're getting close."
Fear: "Let's pick up the pace, then."
Zolus: "You're not going anywhere!"
(Zolus jumps at them from above with a roar and engulfed in flames)
Ricky Boom: "Again, doctor?! Back off, I'm not in the mood!"
(Ricky uses his power of fear and lets out a fierce roar)
(They fight)Fear: "He's already taking on a Nightmare Creature by himself? He's growing stronger every second..!"
Fear: (To Sognare) "My king, what's going on with your son?"
(Zolus projects a force field, but Ricky breaks it instantly)
(Zolus is catapulted out of sight)Ricky Boom: "H-Huh? How did I do this? My god, everything.. just turned into a blur.."
Sognare: "You did well. Take a breath."
Gross: "And with no help from us! I'm impressed! Now let's go, we're almost there."
Sognare: "Wait."
(A stream of flies is shot towards them)
(Everyone deflects)Fear: "Flies! That didn't take long for you to switch sides, traitorous pig!"
(Fear gives a high-pitched scream)
Flies: "Your screams have no effect on me, Fear, you should know that! Hahahahahahaha, my dear flies pick up the vibrations!"
Big Meat: "Will a blade in your ugly face have no effect, either?!"
Flies: "Heh! If you can even see me!"
(Many flies appear and start to darken the area)
Big Meat: "Good try.. except that my weapons aren't made from metal! It's blood!"
Big Meat: "Are you know what attracts flies? The dead scent.. of blood!"
(The flies disperse and fly towards the blade)
(Flies nervously looks around, realizing the insects are too distracted to help him)
(The flies start to drop after coming in contact with the poisoned blood)
(Big Meat smiles, jumps and slits Flies' throat with one swipe)Big Meat: "Bye bye, fly guy!"
Fear: "Prince!"
Ricky Boom: "M-Me?"
Fear: "Absorb his powers before he passes away! You're going to need them!"
(Ricky runs over and absorbs his powers, whereafter Flies collapses)
Big Meat: "Damn flies, I got some in my mouth, yuck..!"
Ricky Boom: "This was a surprisingly easy monster, though."
Gross: "Can you stop calling us 'monsters' and 'things'! Beauty is subjective, you know, and you're not looking so hot yourself!"
Big Meat: "Hehe!"
Sognare: "Our battles have been successful, but it looks like we're losing the war. It's possible we're too late."
Fear: "Don't say that, my king. You are not alone and have been reunited with powerful offspring. We can prove to everyone that only you and your blood is true!"
Ricky Boom: "Except that I'm not planning on staying here and playing the role of prince!"
Gross: "Why not, it's a cool job."
Ricky Boom: (Points at Sognare) "This man, I don't know this man! To me, he's a deadbeat dad, if he even is my real dad! I don't know my real dad! I only know the years of fear, exhaustion, and loneliness; the torture you all put me through!"
Gross: "Then you're basically a born Nightmare Creature!"
Ricky Boom: "I'm not joking around here! I'll help you get to Brutto or whatever, but I'm not going to be your trophy to flaunt with! I'm heading back home after this.."
Sognare: "Son.."
Plato: "No, Ricky, staaay!"
Ricky Boom: "No way, I'm-... who said that just now?"
(Another Nightmare Creature materializes in front of him)
Plato: "Just a curious passer-by.. who wants to know what it's like to kill a Pure!"
Ricky Boom: "A what?"
(Plato sends nightmare imagery his way)
(The others witness Ricky collapse onto the ground and are not aware of Pluto's presence)Gross: "I swear, this kid only knows how to get headaches and fall over!"
Sognare: "His eyelids are moving rapidly.. I believe he's having a nightmare."
Big Meat: "He's gone to sleep, now? Geez, Ricky, real classy."
Sognare: "No. This is a Nightmare Creature at work."
(Back inside Ricky's mind)
Plato: "I've been waiting for you! Hahahahaha! I've been waiting so long for a Pure!"
Plato: "If I kill you, can I have you?"
Ricky Boom: "Fear! Let's super scream this freak!"
Ricky Boom: "Fear?"
Plato: "Hmmmyes, 'fear'. That's a word many of my victims are familiar with.."
Ricky Boom: "Where is everyone?"
Plato: "They're not needed. They're not pure. Just regular weaklings, the entire lot of them!"
Plato: "But you are interesting.. can I have your gift?"
Ricky Boom: "What gift!"
Plato: "The gift of a Pure."
Ricky Boom: "What does that even mean!"
Plato: "GIVE IT TO ME!"
(Plato inserts fear into Ricky's body like burning daggers)
(Ricky gets haunted and lives through the worst situations his mind can make up)Ricky Boom: "Hnnng! Heh! You think that's bad?! You think any of this shit is bad?! You know nothing of what I've lived through! Nothing of the horrors I saw every time I closed my eyes!"
Ricky Boom: "This is like a holiday for me!"
(Ricky reflects the spell)
(He punches Plato in the face)
(Ricky wakes up and Plato appears in everyone's midst)Big Meat: "Oh, he's awake!"
Big Meat: (Looking at Plato) "..Who's this guy?"
Plato: "AAH! Grrr, you are way stronger than I thought..! A Pure can break out of a nightmare like that? Aren't you supposed to be human as well?!"
Sognare: "Nightmare Creatures are no match for Pures, Plato. This was a foolish endeavour."
Fear: "And for betraying the king and attacking the prince, you deserve to lose your powers."
Gross: "Go ahead, Ricky!"
Plato: "Hey.. now, wait!"
(Scene changes to a lurking Brutto Sogno)
Brutto Sogno: "Hmmm. None of my Nightmare Creatures are able to defeat this bunch."
Brutto Sogno: "This is getting repetitive, but I need new creatures.."
(Meanwhile, at a crime scene in the real world)
Cop #1: (Through a megaphone) "Get out of the building, Todd! We know you're in there!"
Cop #2: "..There're gonna deem this guy insane, I know it. He won't see a day in jail..!"
Cop #1: "It's up to doctors to decide if this man is an actual vampire, our job is to capture him, nothing more."
Cop #2: "'An actual vampire', yeah, alright."
Cop #1: (Through a megaphone) "We'll give you as much animal blood you want, but let the victim go!"
(Scene of someone's teeth getting buried in a neck)
Victim: "Someone! Help meaaaaaahh!"
Chapter 6: "Decomposition and The Master of Light"

Officer Monk: "Surrender now, Todd, we don't want to use our weapons! Surrender!"

Officer Monk: "Everyone, take aim!"
(Authorities start shooting)
Officer Monk: "This was your last chance, Todd!"
(Todd tries to take cover, then falls through the dirt)
(Scene goes back to the main cast)
Ricky Boom: "By the way.. that Geremy fusion. We never really defeated it, did we? They were really strong, will we be able to survive next time we see them?"
Fear: "Well, we've established we should keep the brothers separated, and as long we have the king's light, we'll manage."
Ricky Boom: "Awfully optimistic of you."
Gross: "You've become quite the beast yourself, why are you even worried? I bet you'll turn into something stronger than them in the next 5 minutes, you're on steroids!"
(Ricky stops walking)
Ricky Boom: "Hold on.. do you smell that?"
Ricky Boom: "It reminds me of.. Brutto?"
Fear: "That's your enhanced senses talking. You're right, Brutto's stench is in the air."
Sognare: "It looks like my brother has created more recruits.."
(Nightmare soldiers come running)
Ricky Boom: "A whole army now!?"
Gross: "Finally, a real fight, I was getting tired of these lame boss battles! I've been waiting for this!"
Gross: "I'll start first!"
(Fear lets out a super scream)
Gross: "I'LL START FIRST, I SAID!"
(Everyone fights)
Big Meat: "These small fries are nice and all, but there's a monster approaching!"
(A huge monster steps forward and releases a piercing scream)
Gross: "Ok, this might actually be too much for us..!"
(The smaller monsters start to overwhelm them and keep them in place)
Fear: "Release us, dumb goons! Do you even know what this war is about?!"
Sognare: "There's no use pleading with them, Fear. These were mere humans; their transformation left them without a mind of their own."
(Big Meat kicks one in the crotch)
Big Meat: "Not an excuse, Sognare, Ricky and I can still think for ourselves!"
(Ricky kicks one in the crotch)
Ricky Boom: "Don't lump me in with you, you're supposedly not even Smoke anymore!"
Fear: "Your Majesty, are you able to cast your light once more?"
Sognare: "I've not fully recovered, but we'll definitely lose if I don't try."
(Suddenly, Ricky begins to levitate and is illuminated with light)
Gross: "..A-Are you doing that?"
Sognare: "No."
(The light expands and cleans out the entire area)
(Ricky floats back down)Ricky Boom: "Woa.."
Ricky Boom: "I didn't even do anything, that just happened! Did you guys see me!?"
Big Meat: "Yeah yeah, it was cool."
Ricky Boom: "Damn cool! I got, like, holy powers or whatever!"
Sognare: "You've inherited my powers. A divine light that protects people from nightmares. A very contradicting power to have for a Nightmare Creature, but a feature of a Pure."
(Meanwhile, with Brutto Sogno)
Brutto Sogno: "Grrrrrr! He's got the divine light, too?! Not even I got to inherit it from dad! This is bad, but luckily this vampire will soon become mine.."
(Shot of Todd's unmoving body next to him)
Brutto Sogno: "Too bad he's dead, not a good first impression, but I'll revive him into something better. His vampire blood makes the perfect base for an unbeatable Nightmare Creature..!"
(Brutto puts his hand on Todd's head)
Brutto Sogno: "Yes, hahahahahahaha! This'll be it, their time has come!"
(Back with the others)
Gross: "Your time will come, Brutto Sogno, just wait when we get our hands on you! Coward!"
Fear: "He won't hear you."
Gross: "Can't a guy vent a little?"
Ricky Boom: "What are you all going to do when this is over?"
Gross: "What does anyone do in times of peace?"
Fear: "Haunt humans, of course."
Ricky Boom: "Why am I even asking you.."
Ricky Boom: "Big Meat! Don't you want to become human again?"
Big Meat: "No? I don't feel like that's me anymore, because it isn't. I'm staying here."
Ricky Boom: "But what about your family back home?"
Big Meat: "Not my family, not my home."
(Ricky gives him a frown, then turns to Sognare)
Ricky Boom: "..What about you and your family?"
Sognare: "I'm stuck in regret and have no dreams for the future anymore."
Sognare: "I look at my son, no longer a child, and realise my use has expired."
Ricky Boom: "Well, that's no one's fault but your own..!"
Sognare: "Indeed. I embraced my new self too comfortably."
Sognare: "I can recall the yearning to be human again, to take proper care of my son, but my memories of you would not stay in my mind.. I let the Nightmare Creature take me over, and that Nightmare Creature became king and had work to do.."
Sognare: "There aren't enough apologies in the world to make this right, but I'll keep giving them to you, regardless."
Ricky Boom: "Yeah, s-sure.. So, where to next!"
Chapter 7: "Light Warriors"

(All levitating)
Sognare "Big Meat go first the gemini want to take revenge for the last blow that they also gave Geremy they will merge."
(Big Meat forming his blood sword and separating Geremy from merging)
Big Meat "guys I think it didn't help much they will merge more I finish them."
Gross "you know on my forehead my skull is bigger because I took care of rhinos so."
(Gross trying to attack with a skull and it is demoted away)

(Plato tries to attack Rick and it illuminates with Divine Light)
(Ricky attacks a burst of fear energy)

Fear "of course people the blood cult we need to go back to City of Nightmares."
Big Meat "but I was seeing you all the time with blood I can turn into pure blood."
(Ricky starts to heal)
Nuovo Leader "it seems that now our Blood Cult has started to have other people giving blood and becoming creatures."
Nuovo Leader "it looks like Martin was killed more will return here in the City of Nightmares."
Nuovo Leader "well you almost caught John he had a lot of blood."
