Personality
Beckett is a pretty anxious kid, in all honesty. He tries not to go outside as much as he can, however, he did always dream of becoming a knight. Being a squire is the only thing getting him out of bed. He's not really depressed, just anxious.
He's pretty friendly around strangers, but he has to force himself to ahaha. However, once you become close, he's a rambunctious little guy! He enjoys messing around and pranking people. (although his pranks never go far).
As for how he thinks about his fathers interest in necromancy... He doesn't care much. Although, one time a rat zombie ran into his room in the middle of the night, so he's still a bit mad at that. He doesn't assume his dad will ever be able to bring back a human.
Looks
While the world of Smokbog has no real words for race, he'd be considered Mexican by Earth's standards. (Take that as like when Oda told us the races of One Piece characters)
Beckett has medium-brown skin. His hair a dark brown, and his eyes are a striking yellow. His face is more box-shaped, contrasting his fathers. He is very fit for a twelve-year-old, considering he has to help out around the farm and squire Oliver.
He's around 5'5, or 165 cm.
Relationships
Family
He lives with his father, aunt, and cousins. His father, the village "mad man" (he's very sane, don't worry) Alexander Vivianite, has been trying to perfect necromancy for years. Once it was discovered he was practicing such a taboo magic type, he lost his job as a professor, and is currently unemployed. Alexander being so broke, he had to move himself and Beckett in with his older sister, Rhea.
Rhea owns a little farm, although it's mainly used for a homestead for herself and family. She has a(n unnamed) husband, and two kids. With her satyrian[2] ex, she had Oliver Sterling-Toll. With her husband, she had Breeze Sterling.
Now, Breeze. Beckett and Breeze are friends, but they fight a lot. They act more like siblings than cousins, considering how close they are. Breeze is fourteen, and has some friends Beckett doesn't like. Like Gary. He's a dick.
On to Oliver. Oliver is a knight, and Beckett is his squire. They act like siblings a lot, but considering the age gap, it's only slightly. Beckett loves Oliver and looks up to him, but Oliver hates the kids guts. He finds him annoying.
Ah... Christopher Vivianite... Beckett isn't in contact with his paternal grandfather. Lex won't let him, for good reason. Lex and Rhea won't tell him what happened or why, but they cut contact when Oliver was young, so he knows. He won't tell.
